Review of Grandma (2015) by Chris R — 03 Sep 2016

Grandma is a fun little film that will put a smile on your face and make you remember why you like Lily Tomlin. This concept is great and the fact that the film is a tight 80 minutes makes it all the better.

I have two negatives with this movie though. The first one being a particular point in the story involving an old flame is a little too long and I didn't care for the backstory involving that part.

Another problem is that the director chooses to flash words throughout the film. These words that are flashed are completely jarring. With thay out of the way, I hughly recommend Grandma. It's a really good film that deserves to be watched.
