Review of Grandma (2015) by Paul K — 24 Jul 2016
A smashing film. Lily Tomlin is totally believable as a gay poet who has lost her lifelong partner, and is trying to help her granddaughter scrape together the cash for an abortion. It's comic here and there, has good music but only mediocre cinematography.
Some super performances in a tale that is very much to my taste.
