Review of Grandma (2015) by Drew M — 06 Sep 2015
I didn't love this film as much as I thought I would, but still found it to be an entertaining one. The main reason to see this film is the performance of Lily Tomin, who just holds the whole movie together with some funny one liners and some some dramatic moments.
The film also holds a powerful supporting cast particularly Sam Elliot and Judy Greer. The film has lots of laughs but also intense moments. The writing is extremely well done for such a simple story.
I wouldn't put this film in my list of best films of 2016, but would overall say it's a terrific film. My grade=88%(B+).
