Review of Grand Piano (2013) by Raquel R — 18 Jul 2014
Grand Piano is a great piece, but any half-thriller/half-concerto-flick probably would be!
Though it has its challenges with casting (Tamsin Egerton) and its resolution is a letdown relative to the plot's rising tension, the deliberate choices made in sweeping camera movements, artistic lighting, and of course, really engaging music--all seamlessly working together--make this a truly unique watch.
Elijah Wood also does a spectacular job with his faux piano performances. Really incredible.
