Simply amazing. A movie that not only holds some of the best actors and actresses in history, but the story line was also made so perfectly for the type of setting the year was in at the time. Not your usual "happy ending", Grand Hotel has all the components of a great moment in history in which people still wish they were in Garbo's presence when she said those memorable words: "I want to be alone".
Pure genious, and number 1 on my list!
