Review of Grand Hotel (2008) by Byron D — 01 Nov 2009

This is a grand film. The characters are so clear and defined and you get sucked into the story of four stories. I can see why this play was made into a film. When watching it, I thought about all the restored older films, but more of the ones we will lose, because the film will decay.

What gems will be lost? This one wasn't lost because it one best picture at the Oscars, but which ones will? I feel like if everyone watched this movie there would be an out cry to save the rest, just in case there is another equally grand movie out there.
