Such a let down for the Academy Award Winner of Best Film of 1932, must have been a lousy year. This film must have the repuation it has and had due to it's star power because the film itself isn't very flash.
The acting is very unatural, and the stories weren't intertwined very well at all. An overall it was so difficult to really get into the film, there was nothing to connect with the film seemed only surface deep.
Truly style over substance, a bit of a dissapointment indeed...
