Review of Grand Canyon (1991) by Larry S — 01 Sep 2008
A film that I like, but I'm not sure why. Lawrence Kasdan has always been more of a writer than a director, but he did make "Body Heat" after all. His script here is full of interesting characters and thoughtful dialogue, but I'm not sure to where it all leads.
Maybe that was the point, but if I'm still asking that question after all this theorizing, then either Kasdan didn't do a good enough job as a filmmaker, or I'm just having a dense moment while watching it.
