Review of Gran Torino (2008) by Frankf — 28 Jan 2009
I expected this move to be a Dirty Harry retread. I certainly starts that way but becomes something else. There is too many racial slurs and exaggerated "man to man" swearing. This movie is far from perfect but Clint pulls it off.
It good to see Detroit neighborhoods as they truly are. Poor and run down but people keep trying to live there.
