Review of Gran Torino (2008) by Anthony K — 14 Aug 2018
Gran Torino envisions a nearly post Apocalyptic gangland wherein you get the sense that one or two things go wrong, and a literal Race War will boil over. Who wields the real power in this wasteland, you ask? Why, a wizened old white man with a conceal carry weapon.
Seriously, I cannot fathom how this movie is well regarded by anyone, but I'd like to have a long conversation with each and every one of them.
