I hope no basic cable network ever picks up the rights to this, because it's exactly the kind of comfort movie I'd never be able to leave the apartment without finishing. A fictionalized take on Carole King and the Brill Building pop music factory, complete with an amazing soundtrack of new songs, some written by Elvis Costello.
Not great art, but very satisfying.
