Review of Grace Is Gone (2007) by Laira R — 23 Jun 2008
Slowwww moooviieee... Cusask is okay in a Death -of-a-salesman kind of role. Mamet could have written this. The two children in the movie make it decent enough to watch but as is the habit in today's scripts, the profane language is totally inapropriate not to mention absolutely unnecessary to the storyline.
The movie takes a number of political potshots - but what do expect from Hollywood? Strouse's first movie isn't a bomb, but this movie had potential and was wasted. Too bad.
