Review of Grace Is Gone (2007) by Nicole O — 15 May 2009
I knew that it was about a mother's passing but did not realize she was a soldier. While I am fortunate enough to have had my father return home safely from all of his deployments- I could still empathize with the characters to an extent.
I was unaware of the military content before watching it- but I'm glad I did. It is a nice acknowledgment to the sacrifices of those that serve and their families.
