Review of Grace Is Gone (2007) by Qais A — 29 Sep 2010
In a way it was a good movie, because it was very touching...a man who has just found out his wife has been killed in Iraq can't bring himself to tell his daughters. Can't blame him there; that's a lot to have to explain to young kids, especially when you're trying to figure it out yourself and trying to hold yourself together.
So yes, very sad; and John Cusack plays the part well. On the other hand, it was extremely slow-paced, not something you can really watch again.
