When I first watched this film, I couldn't help feeling that it was a little weird, and nothing much seemed to be happening for the first hour or so. then, BAM, out of nowhere, I was flattened by the incendiary events at the end.
I won't say what they are, but sleeping that night was made very difficult! I don't know anything about Japanese actors, nor can I tell them apart from each other. Visitor Q is another Miike film worth seeing, though.
Just classic from both.
