An Upstairs Downstairs murder mystery that downplays the mystery. This is more a comedy/drama of manners, with the distinctions and similarities of the two classes exposed via an initiallly bewildering array of characters.
The true genius of Robert Altman shines throughout this disarming and original take on a well-worn genre.
