Review of Gosford Park (2001) by Cristóbal D — 24 Dec 2009
Robert Altman's Gosford Park is a film I have a tough time watching and that could be by the pacing of the film. There are so many characters but I didn't find them interesting--OK maybe one Kelly Macdonald since she kind of acts like the POV of this movie.
The British Class system was hard for me to understand but Altman always but's dirty satire into the mix making it funny. Gosford Park is a party movie, a sexual inuendo movie, and a whodunnit murder mystery type of movie.
I don't know I'm an adult but I guess I fit in with the 14 year old boys, maybe when I'm in my late 50's I will understand Gosford Park more.
