This was sooo boring. But I also went into it just looking for fighting. No one warned me it was a romantic comedy!
As a romantic comedy, it was refreshingly sweet and innocent, with emotions developing before physicality. The female lead, I forget her name, is adorable (sometimes to the point of annoyance, but she bounces back), and Jackie really does have a winning smile.
The emphasis on fighting is different, less exploitive, more about personal improvement.
What knocks this movie down in the rating as low as it is was the music - god it was awful.
Eh, I guess the movie wasn't -so- bad. It just wasn't Rumble in the Bronx, and I was unprepared for that.
