Review of Gorgeous (1999) by Paul R — 30 May 2008
Some Jackie Chans best fight I have seen in recent years and the story wasn't that bad at all. This was Jackie's attempt to be more of the ladies man and player which to me worked a little, because at least he proved he could be charming, and I like when actors go outside themselves, but let's be honest, we want to see him kick ass in abundance and he did so in this movie.
The other martial artist in this film really held his own. I dare say, he almost got the better of the season veteran, but almost doesn't count.
