Review of Goosebumps (2015) by Mercedes-Benz M — 01 Nov 2015
A highly enjoyable family movie that plucks the nostalgia strings just right for those who grew up with the show and books. I particularly loved that the film didn't feel obligated to use the established character designs from the show and gave the monsters new life.
The highlight of the film for me was Slappy the dummy, but like every other monster you don't see enough of him!
I'm hoping that they remake the individual stories into full features. I know I could watch that masterfully puppeted Slappy for a full film!
