It is not or never going to be a cinematic work of art with stellar acting. But it was enjoyable Film with a good sense of humor for the kids and pretty good CGIs for visual effect. The plot was silly but it is what it is.
It's not meant for anything other then to be an enjoyable family Halloween movie.
