Increasingly disturbing and tense, and with a modern and unsettling horror vibe to every scene, Goodnight Mommy (Ich Seh, Ich Seh) explores many aspects of horror . from the unknown to the cringe worthy, and even if it does have some balance issues and moments that feel out of place and unnecesary, it somehow manages to always have something fresh and terrifying under its slick and clever sleeve.
