Review of Goodnight Mommy (2015) by Syed R — 15 Oct 2015

This movie is exactly what I feared it would be based off from the trailers. It's 90% tedious build up and 10% little pay off. It's not scary nor suspenseful and what little story it has doesn't merit that ending.

It reminded me of Funny Games but even that movie had something more going on. If I had to give the movie a positive it would probably be that it was shot extremely well. Overall, it's a waste of time and this might be a strong contender for my bottom 10 of the year.
