One of the best foreign psychological thrillers of it's time. Goodnight Mommy brings a well made plot with an even better ending. The Austrian film is set up in an isolated lake house with a mother that is just coming home from undergoing facial surgery with her twin sons waiting for her (Lukas and Elias).
When the boys start to notice something different about their mother, the plot becomes spine-chilling. During this jewel, the viewer is on the edge of their seat with their mind continuously trying to make up a plausible theory for what the twin boys are trying to unravel.
A must-see for thriller movie junkies.
