What stood out most to me about this film were some of the stunning still images. I enjoyed the way the movie was shot and how various scenes were crafted. This movie captures the essence of a small town in an authentic manner, as well.

this was a very solid first film for director and writer josh doke. there are some real glimpses of greatness in Goodland. I look forward to seeing some of his future projects.
