Review of GoodFellas (1990) by Kyle R — 10 Aug 2014
Perhaps Scorsese's best film, GoodFellas is fearless and relevant. While the story in itself was very interesting, the acting was the driving force behind the film. The acting was so strong all across the board.
Every character was believable, well thought out, and strongly portrayed. The tone of the film was a beautifully composed mixture of comedy, horror, and drama. Scorsese's stamp was evident across the film as his world was vibrant and full of life and his sets and visuals were stunning and stylish.
