The performances alone make this movie rewatchable a thousand times. Scorsese crafts this story from the ground up, acting as our tour guide through this gritty underworld. Perhaps most impressive is his ability to make all the characters likeable.
A masterful achievement in storytelling, and a superb experience from start to finish.
