Review of Good Will Hunting (1997) by Philip E — 05 Jan 2013
Someone I know insisted this story is sooo ludicrous: A young math genius working as a janitor at night at M.I.T. solving almost impossible math equations left on the hallway black board in the math dept.
This janitor falls in love with a Harvard under grad co-ed. he meets at a bar. She falls in love with him back, she also knows how to tell a good dirty joke. And his best buddy is Ben Affleck. How about those apples?! The M.
I.T. professor tracks him down. The ludicrous part my friend insisted is why would this math genius be a janitor and not in school already? Well he had violent run ins with the law and mental health issues that Robin Williams had to help him solve with a big bear hug.
Duh!
