Review of Good Will Hunting (1997) by Javier H — 08 May 2014
This sad story of a conflictive guy who is a true genious but is too angry and shy to show himself to the world is simply beautiful and amazing. The script is extraordinary, whereas there are dialogues which will give you goosebumps for decades.
The plot follows Will Hunting, a talented working-class man who is too conflicted with dark past experiences to open himself to his therapist Sean (Robin Williams in a marvellous role), but as the story develops we find that his fear for acceptance is what makes him to destroy almost every relationship he has.
It is an incredible film and surely one of the essential things to do in a lifetime is to watch this enormous story.
