The film, to me, is anti-climatic, and it works very well in doing so. Pattinson undoubtedly carried this film, but to have a message so profound in the end you feel as hedonistic as the lead character; it's a drug trip that, once you wake up from the next day, you feel guilty about, and you should feel guilty about because it'll change your view of the world around you.
