Review of Good Night (2008) by Corey W — 30 Apr 2008

Due to some rough reviews, I lowered my expectations just a bit, and was pleasantly surprised.

Martin Freeman is a good leading man, which for some reason surprised me. I hope people catch on and throw him some bones.

Also, Simon Pegg was in it, and his character was hilarious. best line in the movie: 'I'M GONNA RAPE YOU!".

It's also about something people don't even realize they're obsessed with: prolonging fantasies. we love dreams and don't want the good ones to end. if I could, i'd spend the rest of my life in dreams. as explained in the film, we live different lives through film, television, and fiction. we eat them up as methods of escaping, if only for a few hours at a time. the film then reminds us that it's waking life that really matters.
