Review of Good Morning, Vietnam (1987) by Brendan R — 04 Jan 2015
Robin Williams was a very funny man, but let's not forget how good of a dramatic actor he was as well. Here, in "Good Morning, Vietnam" you get both sides of the Williams coin and its spectacular.
It's fun, uproarious, dramatic, heartbreaking, and angry all in one performance. Story of a man sent to Vietnam to run the radio show in the AM to provide U.S. troops with a laugh, Williams' character encounters the enemy of his, a jealous, mean, sergeant that doesn't want him there.
It's a great story, and I strongly encourage it to anyone who loves this guy. 4/5 JD.
