Review of Good Morning, Vietnam (1987) by Jebjbo — 23 Jul 2023

This was bad, and by bad I mean really **** bad. I don't know why this thing gets good reviews and I don't know what the deal with Robin Williams was (he worked ONLY as a cartoon character like he did in Aladdin).

How annoying can a person/character be?! Who thought it was a good idea to put Williams in a "white-man-goes-on-a-whimsical-adventure"-movie that takes place during the Vietnam War?? Where does the 80s nostalgia come from when you can have a sexist, homophobic, and racist main character that stalks a woman he wants to **** and uses her brother to get to her? I don't even remember how the "story" ended because above all the problematic stuff with this piece of **** there is still one big problem left: Good Morning, Vietnam is so exhaustingly boring.

I'm afraid of re-watching "Mrs. Doubtfire" now.
