Robin Williams gives an genuinely funny and moving performance. This is easily one of my favorite war movies. It knows how lay on the comedy, but what is also remarkable about the film is that it's not afraid to be serious when it needs to be.
It's great to see a comedy set during the Vietnam war when as we know there wasn't much to laugh about. A must see movie!
