I have to give Chris Rock credit for caring enough about his daughters to make this documentary. My only complaint is the movie spends too much time on the beauty show and not enough on the every day people who keep this industry alive and he overlooks women who successfully reject the stereotypical black obsession with hair, he gives lots of air time to barbie doll celebrities who keep the hair weaving business afloat.
Absolutely worth seeing regardless of race or gender.
