Review of Good Dick (2008) by Sally K — 23 Mar 2009

Now, I am a fan of movies... Especially the indie, and international scene... Things that stray from Hollywood. This whole movie was like watching an accident, filled with pseudo intellectual "speculations" to develop your own conclusions.

.. Somehow I was intrigued enough to continue watching the movie, just to see some dramatic back story on why these two individuals were so... Uniquely charming. Unfortunately, there were just hints which leads to the speculations I mentioned earlier.

The acting was decent, but overall... Without more hard facts on the characters, the film doesn't work. How can you sympathize with a broken ball point pen if you don't know what it's been through to be so broken?
