Tonight, I attended a "Good Burger" feast at the Alamo Drafthouse in Downtown Austin. The programmers there have dubbed this the single greatest 80's movie of the mid-90's. I had never seen it before because it came out when I was in college and especially snobby about film. I figured it had to be worth checking out if the Alamo gang were recommending it.

Truth be told, it made me laugh a lot. It's stupid, but in all the right ways. For a Nick spin-off, it really has no business being as charming and funny as it actually is. Part of the pleasure of seeing it was watching it on a rare 35mm print with a sold-out crowd of people who had seen it countless times. They roared with laughter and they cheered at the ending. I never would have expected to enjoy it, but I did.
