A very affecting film, with superb acting and competent direction. It is particularly refreshing to see a historical hero to be portrayed fully, and as a complex individual, including less desireable traits and reluctance to put himself in danger.
After all, this was a terrifying time for those who did not agree with the Nazi movement, and no doubt highly confusing. An emotional and recommended film.
