Viggo can play anybody and any thing. This time he chooses to be a German in 1930s Germany. Mark Strong is also on the scene. He seems to be everywhere I look. And that is glorious.

Good is a refreshing take on the entire Nazi mess. Or maybe not an entire "take" per se, but the angle is interesting. Viggo plays a teacher/writer who has the misfortune of getting in the crosshairs of the Party, but they actually want him to work for them. Which it seems is almost as bad as pissing them off. He has to do a lot of soul searching, as his ideals clash with the ones the Nazis relish. Of course he also has a Jewish friend, which doesn't exactly help matters. And a sick mother. And a half-crazy wife. Jeeesh!

If you enjoy watching a man try to navigate his way through a tightening political climate, whilst simultaneously trying to keep true to his own values, this is a must-see flick. And you should, as Viggo once again delivers a powerful and subtle performance.

Also, this is an excellent reminder how much Jason Isaacs is wasted in the Potter franchise. Awesome actor.
