The gonzo life style of Hunter Thompson is explored in this movie version of his documentary. The movie does a nice job of showing how a very talented writer rose to the level of fame envied by most rock stars.
Plenty of interesting subjects, and funny pokes, but wow, is it amazing the amount of drugs one person can ingest and still function. The minus to the movie was the blunt way the director compared Bush to Nixon.
.. we got it without having to be shown.
