Review of Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson (2008) by Kyle C — 26 Jul 2008
The fact that you are even reading this is reason enough to go out (right now....stop reading and go) and buy, steal, or fabricate a ticket to "Gonzo: The Life and Work of Hunter S. Thompson". You owe it to the serial malcontent that sits on your shoulder. You owe it to the chronic patriot that sits on HIS shoulder and the drug-addled poet that resides in his left pocket.
Thompson spent 30 years flicking lit matches at the kerosene that seeped from our eyes and the napalm that coated our fingertips. This movie is a two-hour thank you sung from burnt lips.
