Review of Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson (2008) by Susan R — 27 May 2009
Excellent, but way too short. Basically blots out anything that happened between the late 70's and early 00's. No mention of The Rum Diary. No mention of the letters collections. No mention of his support of Lisl Auman and the retarded felony murder law.
No mention of his arrests. Sure, it would have to be 4 hours long, but so what? Still, some great inclusions, especially with George McGovern.
