Review of Gone with the Wind (1939) by Pock P — 29 Jul 2011
I love it as a kid and love it as an adult but for different reasons though. Anyway, it is such an entertaining and incredible film (how the hell did they make a movie of this scale 70 yrs ago???) and a true classic that withstands any numbers of watches.
The journey of this spoiled love-craze teenager who grow into a tougher-than-nail bitch who still doesn't know what she wants from life is both dreamy yet realistic that it still inspires millions of female fans nowaday.
Did I mention that the movie is so awesomely romantic? Rhett and Scarlett continues to burn the screen like no other couples in cinema history ever could and I believe that to this day, Rhett is still the prototype in many Harper&Quinn novels.
It is also a timeless costume galore that should drools every fashion enthusiasts...a must watch and for many many times!!!
