Review of Gone with the Wind (1939) by Ryan B — 12 Oct 2012
I think the outstanding performance goes to Clark Gable in this classic film. At nearly 4 hours it can sometimes seem a bit slow. The film has an undercurrent of romance but has elements of brutality and hard truth.
Although the film doesn't really let you go, I don't think it grabs you and says wow either. Ending is unexpected in many ways but not great.
