Review of Gone Girl (2014) by Stuart M — 07 Feb 2016
I liked the direction it was going in, both before and after the big twist, but I felt like it tried too hard to hammer home its basic ideas about marriage. Given the view it takes on the institution I also found that disturbing and the ending not a little bit forced and dumb.
Otherwise an easy four stars.
