Metaphor.
Like masturbation, it starts off flimsy but with each stroke it slowly and excitingly grows more and more into a really enjoyable erection until the sudden ejaculation that can leave you both pleasantly surprised or disappointed.
To be honest, it started off pretty uninteresting and cliché but say about a quarter or a third of a way through, it completely flips the tables with a really interesting turn of events that slaps you right in the face and entices to watch til the end of what is an really weird, mixed feelings but defiantly an "interesting" conclusion.
