Review of Gone Girl (2014) by Bill S — 08 Jul 2015
This is not a movie that I will want or need to see again. But I am happy that I saw it once. And even happier to say that I was enthralled from the beginning. Fincher has many strengths as a director, but increasingly I find his mastery of pacing unequaled.
He knows how to tell a story; better yet, he understands the push and pull of narrative.
