Who da' thunk that Ben Affleck had it in him to direct such a fine film? Great cast, anchored by an excellent performance by Casey Affleck. I do think that the twists and turns felt more convoluted as the film progressed, and at times it was hard to believe that a simple private detective could be as hardcore and streetsmart in the face of thugs and criminals.
.. but it still was a pretty good watch, and left me with the question "what would I do if I was in Patrick's situation?".
