I saw this movie and it was a real disappointment in reference to the messaging for society when you have an abusive parent. Drug mule mother neglects 3 year old child who is then taken subversively by authorities behind the scenes to try and give the child a normal life.
Afflectk character who is PI takes the wrong side and blows up the plan returning the child to her drug runner Mother. Really sad commentary on how Ben Affleck the director sees life.
