Good first effort by Affleck as director, but it felt like your typical crime drama you might see on Law and Order or CSI. Without giving the plot away, the worst part is you'll get to the end and say, "If they'd only done X instead of Y, none of this would have happened.
" The story feels contrived around the idea: is following the rules always the right thing to do?
